Lake Jackson Intermediate Panther Power Dance Team Brings Home Top Awards

Congratulations to the Lake Jackson Panther Power Dance Team for their amazing success at the Marching Auxiliaries (MA) Dance Competition at Shadow Creek High School in Pearland.

All dance teams from BISD, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Clute Intermediate and Lake Jackson Intermediate entertained their audience the night before the contest in the first BISD Dance Team Show Off where all the teams performed their competition dances in front of friends and family. It was a wonderful, hopefully annual event.

The following day, the Panther Dance Team traveled to Pearland where they joined nearly 40 dance groups ranging from 5 year olds to seniors in High School. There are many different divisions based on style, age level, and size of the dance team.

Congratulations to Elon Coates and her dance team on their trophies.

Jazz: 1st Place
Contemporary: 1st Place
Pom: 1st Place

Best in Class Junior High School
