STOP (Stop*Talk*Overcome*Pain) assemblies are coming to BISD on October 21 and October 25! See attached flyer for more locations.
Where: Lake Jackson Intermediate Gym
When: October 25, 2019
Time: 8:00AM-8:45AM (7th grade)
9:45AM-10:30AM (8th grade)
The goal of these assemblies is to educate students on the issues facing our youth today through an interactive presentation format. The students in the assemblies will hear the message "You are not alone. There is a plan and purpose for your life... Suicide is NOT the answer." Brenda George, founder of STOP, was recently awarded the 2019 Heroes for Children award by the State Board of Education.
