Welcome to the Panther Football page! As we look forward to the 2020-2021 school year, look to this page to find information, updates, and news about Panther football! For those of you who will be coming to LJI for the first time in the fall of 2020, please note that you must have a physical on file before you can participate in athletics at LJI. The athletic forms that you will need is found on the LJIS Athletics home page.

NOTE: Games will be posted on the Lake Jackson Intermediate School Athletics Site. In addition, any updates due to weather or game cancellations will be posted on LJI Facebook page.

Game Tickets:

LAKE JACKSON INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL VS MANVEL
Football - 8th Grade Red (A) @ Day Field - Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM

Due to the COVID UIL Regulations limiting contact between players, fans, and limited seating, this will be a different looking season. Masks will be required of ALL guests and appropriate social distancing will also be required. All fans must exit the stadiums before the teams will be allowed to leave, when each game ends.

Football Guidelines for Lake Jackson Intermediate:
One home game will be played on the LJI campus with all other games played at Slade Field on the Brazoswood campus.

All coaches must wear masks.
Players must wear masks when on the bench or on the sidelines.

All game personnel must wear masks and practice social distancing.
Every other row in the stadium will be marked off for no seating.
Slade Field:
- Per UIL Guidelines, the stands at Slade Field will be held to a 50% capacity.
- Guests will wear masks and practice social distancing, 6 feet apart, if not with family members from the same home.
- Lake Jackson players will be given 4 vouchers the day before the game for their parents to purchase tickets at Slade Field. These tickets may ONLY be used on the west end of the HOME side of Slade Field.
- There will be 100 general admission ‘lawn chair’ (bring your own) tickets for the HOME side of the track sold on a first come first serve basis. (From the HOME west side goal lines to the 35 yard line, in lanes 3, 5 and 7 of the track.)
- 100 LJI students with IDs will be admitted free and are to sit in the temporary bleachers at the east end of the field, on a first come first serve basis.
- Visiting teams will receive 100 vouchers the week before the game to distribute to their players for the south side of Slade Field.
- There will be 100 general admission VISITOR ‘lawn chair’ (bring your own) tickets for the VISITOR side of the track sold on a first come first serve basis. (From the VISITOR west side goal lines to the 35 yard line, in lanes 3, 5 and 7 of the track.)
- NO other general admission tickets will be available.
LJI Field:

Lake Jackson players will be given 4 vouchers the day before the game for their parents to purchase tickets at LJI field. These tickets may ONLY be used on the HOME side of the field.
There will be 92 general admission ‘lawn chair’ (bring your own) tickets for the HOME side of the track sold on a first come first serve basis. (From the HOME side goal lines to the 35 yard line, in lanes 2, and 4 of the track.)
The first 100 students with LJI IDs will be admitted free and will sit on the bleachers on the VISITOR side of the field, on a first come first serve basis.
Visiting teams will receive 92 vouchers the week before the game to distribute to their players for the LJI field.
These VISITOR vouchers will be for 92 ‘lawn chair’ (bring your own) tickets for the VISITOR side of the track. (From the VISITOR side goal lines to the 35 yard line, in lanes 2, and 4 of the track.)
NO other general admission tickets will be available.
