LJIS Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Campaign

LJIS will be participating in the Red Ribbon Campaign during the week of October 25.

We celebrate Red Ribbon Week to show our commitment to living a drug free life. The purpose of Red Ribbon week is to promote awareness and share more information about the dangers of drugs. It’s designed to get people talking to each other, working on community activities to build community.

Red Ribbon Week Student Pledge -

“I pledge to stay in school and learn the things that I need to know.”

“I pledge to make the world a better place for kids like me to grow.”

“I pledge to keep my dreams alive and be all that I can be.”

“I pledge to help others and to keep myself drug free.”

Monday:  From Head to Toe -- I'm Drug Free!
Crazy Hair and Sock Day!

Tuesday: Being Drug Free is Timeless!
Decade Day!  Pick a decade (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc.) Have a great time remembering that time!

Wednesday:  We are not under the Influence... We are Influencers!
Celebrity Lookalike Day!

Thursday: Don't be a Villain... Be a Hero!  Stay Drug Free!
Superhero Day!  Dress up as your favorite superhero!

Friday:  Drugs are SPOOKY!
Halloween Costume Day!  (No masks or face paint;  must be in dress code)
