Brazosport ISD is pleased to announce that Sheri King Minter has been named principal of Lake Jackson Intermediate School. Ms. Minter has served for the last three years as an assistant principal at Lake Jackson Intermediate. Prior to that, she was a social studies content coordinator in Pearland ISD and a teacher at Freeport Intermediate School.
“I am thrilled and honored to be named the principal at Lake Jackson Intermediate School,” stated Ms Sheri Minter. “We have outstanding students, teachers, parents, and community support at LJIS. Together, we will work to make this a place where students connect positively with staff.”

Sheri is a leader who cares deeply about the success of each student and works tirelessly to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff,” said Superintendent Danny Massey. “With more than 20 years in education, Ms. Minter is highly respected among the LJIS staff, and she will continue to lead the campus in setting the standard for educational excellence.”
Minter earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston Clear Lake, in History, along with a 6-12th grade social studies composite teaching certificate, and her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, also from the University of Houston Clear Lake, with a K-12 Principal certificate.
