- Registration
Online Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now available for all current BISD students. Registration opened on May 1, 2022 at 8:00 AM and will close on August 16, 2022 at midnight.
New Student Registration for LJI Begins August 2, 2022. Please call our LJI campus (979-730-7250) to schedule an appointment.
- Panther Camp
Join us August 4, 2022 for an orientation for new 7th grade students to LJIS. Get a tour of the school,
learn our procedures, make some new friends, and be better prepared for
the first day of school!

- Meet the Teacher
August 15, 2022
8th Grade students | 4:30 - 5:30 PM
7th Grade students | 6:30 - 7:30 PM
During "Meet the Teacher", you and your student will have the opportunity to -
1) Meet the LJI Leadership Team
2) Take fun pictures with an LJI backdrop
3) Buy LJI Spirit Shirts *
4) Turn in shot records (if needed)
5) Make edits in Parent Portal (if needed)
6) Pay Fines & Fees (if needed) *
7) Receive student’s schedule (if clear with shot records and fines)
8) Walk the building & locate classes
9) Meet with the PE teachers & coaches
10) Purchase Chromebook Insurance *
* Please note - Credit cards are the only form of payment available.
- Dress Code
LJIS follows all of BISD student dress code rules. Please be sure to read carefully and make sure you will be in compliance!
- Pick up and drop off details
7th and 8th grade students have different locations. Check out the map so you know where to enter and exit.
- Start times/Bell schedules
Make sure you know what time to show up to school. LJIS has an early start - 7:20 AM. We open at 7:00 AM for breakfast. Good habits start with showing up on time and have a good breakfast!
- Extra Curricular Activities
We have numerous opportunities for after school activities. Check out our clubs and organizations. Try them all - stay with the one you love!
- How to be a Volunteer
We would love to have you here at LJIS! Check out the procedure and forms to fill out. Be prepared to join us on field trips!
- Lunch Information
Very important! What's for lunch? Check out this site to see the monthly LJIS cafeteria menu. In addition, pay for your meal account online.
